This lake-side log home was erected in July near Haliburton, Ontario.  It features some interesting log post and beam work that frames-in a breakfast nook and screened porch area. (Click on thumbnails to view larger version in new window.)

A mixture of rough-sawn beams, round posts, hand hewn walls, and knotty log trusses define this Georgian Bay piece-on-piece style structure.  Flared cedar columns and forked timbers add to the unique, rustic appeal of the building recently erected on an island near Parry Sound.
